Job Responsibilities:
This position requires a bright, energetic individual with strong project management, analytical and building science engineering capability as well as well developed written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will assist in delivering strategies and services that evaluate cost effective energy efficient technologies for integration into customer's new and existing building projects. In addition, they will work directly with customers, engineering consultants, equipment vendors, and other vendors on the design and implementation of complex energy efficiency measures in customers facilities

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science required; mechanical engineering or related building science and technology field preferred. A Master's degree a plus.
  • Strong building science and technical abilities including the ability to analyze and manage projects and consulting engineers.
  • Familiarity with high performance green design practices and standards in the built environment
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills and strong customer focus.
  • Previous commercial building design or mechanical/electrical engineering and applied architecture work experience a plus.
  • Previous work experience as a facilities engineer, building energy management or consulting engineer with emphasis on energy calculations and high performance building attributes a plus.
  • P.E. and C.E.M. certification preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of corporate business support applications.
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment that places great emphasis on team work, customer focus and results Other Energy Efficiency Program Delivery Responsibilities
  • Assist in the provision of program management and sustainable energy resource delivery services
  • Provide collaboration efforts with outside state and national energy organizations to maintain National Grid's image as a leader in delivering high quality energy efficiency practices
  • Coordinate program delivery with National Grid's work management process to provide tracking and database management capability
  • Support the delivery of program marketing functions and manage related vendor resources and relationships
  • Enhance National Grid's capability to innovate, design and deliver effective new climate action strategies
