We've all seen the devastation when companies and individuals act dishonestly and unethically. Such actions affect everyone: organizations, employees, shareholders, and the tax-paying public. They also prove a truth that National Grid people live by: There's only one way to do business—the right way.

All National Grid employees receive Standards of Conduct training and materials to help them make good choices. And to understand and successfully address the ethical and legal issues that can arise in our business.

Regardless of job, regardless of level, the expectations are the same for all of us:

Unflinching adherence to the highest standards of business conduct
Unhesitating reporting of potential ethical or legal violations
Quick, effective remediation of problems once they're identified
