Building Operator Certification
This program is a competency-based training and verification program for building operators designed to improve the energy efficiency of commercial and industrial buildings. Building operators can earn certification by attending training sessions and completing project assignments in their facilities. The training and certification initiative is designed to replicate a program developed in the Northwest United States by the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council. The initiative is sponsored by several gas and electric utilities in the Northeast region and administered by the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships.
