Nantucket Cable Project
In early 2005, we will begin construction of a second submarine cable from Cape Cod to Nantucket. This cable was designed and permitted after studies concluded that a second undersea cable is the most reliable, environmentally sensitive, and cost-effective way to meet Nantucket's growing need for more electricity.

NOTICE:
- October 17 thru October 24 we will be doing the Horizontal Directional Drilling on Ocean St and Hawes St. In Hyannis
- October 24 thru October 31 we will be doing the Horizontal Directional Drilling on Jefferson Ave in Nantucket.
- The Submarine Cable Installation will begin in Late November - Early December.
