Construction Update

NOTICE: The installation of underground conduits associated with the cable project necessitates the closing of Kidd's Hill Road from 7:00 P.M. till 5:00 A.M. starting Sunday July 17, 2005 and lasting up to three weeks. Detours will be set up to allow traffic to move around the work zone.

The map included in this section summarizes what has been accomplished to date and where construction crews are expected to be working in the coming months. Please keep in mind that weather conditions may impact construction schedules.

Completed areas: manhole and conduit installation is complete. Cable installation and final street restoration work will occur in the fall of 2005. These activities will not require any excavation in the public way.
