Become an Approved Electric Supplier/Broker There are five steps to become an approved Energy Supplier/Broker:

Step One
Attend an Electric Supplier /Broker Training Session. To register, please contact the sponsoring utility contact person available on the 2009 Supplier/Broker Training Schedule (pdf).

Step Two
Complete the Electric Supplier License Application, available on the Department of Public Utilities website* You will have to submit this to the Department of Public Utilities.

Step Three

• Execute two copies of the Competitive Electric Supplier Service Agreement (pdf)
• Visit the ISO New England website for a copy of the ISO-NE Market System Asset Registration Form.

Step Four
Complete the EDI Pre-Testing Worksheet (doc). Please note that a minimum of three weeks is typically required to establish a start date for system testing.

Step Five (Optional)
Complete the Supplier Participation and Acknowledgment Agreement (pdf). This will enable you to be listed on our website as an active Supplier/Broker. Please note that being listed on our website requires abiding by the terms and conditions contained in the Agreement.
