Become an Approved Electric Supplier/Broker There are five steps to become an approved Energy Supplier/Broker:

Step One
Attend an Electric Supplier /Broker Training Session. To register, please contact the sponsoring utility contact person available on the 2012 Supplier/Broker Training Schedule (pdf).

Step Two
Complete the Electric Supplier License Application, available on the Department of Public Utilities website* You will have to submit this to the Department of Public Utilities.

Step Three Step Four
Complete the EDI Pre-Testing Worksheet (pdf). Please note that a minimum of three weeks is typically required to establish a start date for system testing.

Additional Information: Step Five (Optional)
Complete the Supplier Participation and Acknowledgment Agreement (pdf). This will enable you to be listed on our website as an active Supplier/Broker. Please note that being listed on our website requires abiding by the terms and conditions contained in the Agreement.

Once the above steps are successfully met, we will notify the Electricity Supplier and the Department of Public Utilities.
