Tampering with or bypassing a natural gas meter in order to obtain free natural gas is illegal and can be harmful to the perpetrator as well as to others. Theft of natural gas is a serious crime and we will make every effort to ensure that anyone caught stealing natural gas is prosecuted to the fullest extent under the law.
