Five Year Statement
The National Grid Five Year Statement, 2010-2014 provides insights into generation development and transmission system loadings and limitations across the New York and New England region. It examines transmission congestion trends, and indicates areas where new or expanding generation or load can best be accommodated. (Please note: This report does not include detailed information on specific projects such as exact routing or cost, nor does it list National Grid's transmission expansion plans or budget. If you seek that information, you will have to consult other sources.)
The information is only available as an online version and is at no cost, and consists of two components:
- The Five Year Statement book chapters, which contain the redacted version of the report and maps.
- Some supplemental materials that may be of interest to some readers.
