Non-Residential Payment Agreement Terms

  • Timely payment of all current charges while this Agreement is in effect.
  • The arrears under this agreement may be subject to late payment charges at the rate of one and one-half percent (1.5%) monthly, eighteen percent (18%) annually.
  • It is understood that the Company agrees not to disconnect service as long as the Customer honors the terms of the Payment Agreement.
  • For this Agreement to become binding on both the Customer and National Grid, the Customer must:
    • Sign and date the Agreement and return it to National Grid
    • Make any required down payment by the due date.
    • Verify the signed Agreement no later than Down Payment Due Date stated below.

  • Rules pertaining to the Payment Agreements for Non-Residential Utility Customers are contained in Title 16 of the New York Code of Rules and Regulations. The Customer may contact the New York State Public Service Commission to determine if this Agreement conforms to those rules.

After reviewing the specific terms of this agreement (stated below) if you feel you are not able to make the required payments—do not sign this agreement. If you have questions or wish to discuss the terms with a National Grid representative, call our Credit Department phone number.

How payments will be made if you accept this agreement











Your downpayment and E-signed DPA will be due 10 calendar days from when your agreement was created (see above). All installment payments covered by this agreement, and all bills you will be receiving for current service charges while the agreement is in effect, must be paid by the due dates shown on the bills.


What happens if you do not make the payments

Company acceptance: By this statement, National Grid verifies that the specific terms offered on this document are in acceptable agreement for payment of monies owing.

Customer acceptance: By signing this agreement, I will be agreeing to make payments according to the terms of this agreement. In return, National Grid will agree not to shut-off my service for non-payment, for as long as I continue to honor the terms of this agreement.


Acceptance of Agreement

Company acceptance: By this statement, National Grid verifies that the specific terms offered on this document are in acceptable agreement for payment of monies owing.

Customer acceptance: To indicate acceptance, type your name, complete the date field, and click ‘Submit’ below.

If you do not acknowledge and return the agreement (or contact us to discuss alternative terms) and a final termination notice is in effect, we will take necessary steps to terminate your service.
