Benchmarking Program

Improve your building's performance and energy efficiency grade.

How energy efficient is your building? Is it performing at its best? National Grid can help determine how your building rates on the energy-efficiency scale and provide the technical and financial support you need to improve its performance, comfort and safety.

Our Benchmarking Program is a great way to improve your energy savings, reduce your carbon footprint and, ultimately, raise your building grade.

We can help your buildings make the grade.

Buildings over 25,000 sq. ft.

Per NYC's Benchmarking Law, all non-city-owned buildings over 25,000 sq. ft. have likely already undergone a Building Grades Assessment. Another assessment will be performed by the city in October, 2022. Our Benchmarking Program can help you:

  • Identify areas for energy-efficiency improvements
  • Connect you with experts and incentives to perform energy upgrades
  • Enhance the comfort, safety, desirability and savings of your building
  • Reduce your building's carbon footprint
  • Improve your building's grade
