No, you don't need to update anything.  Any payment plans you were enrolled in are still active. 

Remember, to sign into your Massachusetts Gas account, you must use a username. If you're having trouble logging in, request a Sign-In ID or password reminder.

To sign into your Massachusetts Electric account, you must use an email address. If you're having trouble logging in, request a Sign-In ID or password reminder.

We are working on uniting Massachusetts Electric and Gas into one website, but for the time being, they are still two separate websites with separate logins. To switch from the Massachusetts Gas website to the Massachusetts Electric website (or vice versa), click on the "Change Location" link found at the top of our site.

Remember, to sign into your Massachusetts Gas account, you must use a username. To sign into your Massachusetts Electric account, you must use an email address. 

Absolutely! Your past usage details and bills are still accessible from your account once you login.

Besides an overall more clean and modern design, our new site offers:

  • Quicker, easier payments (including mobile payments through our app, available from iTunes and GooglePlay)
  • A site search to easily locate information
  • Multi-language support
  • Faster storm and emergency notifications

In addition to reviewing the feedback we get though our usual customer service channels, we regularly survey website visitors to better understand their needs and pain points.

We enlisted customers in multiple rounds of testing throughout the planning and development phases of the new NationalGridUS.com to ensure we delivered on our promise of a better customer experience every step of the way.
