Non-Firm Demand Response Tier Election - NYC

TIER ELECTION FORM FOR SERVICE CLASSIFICATION NOS. 22 and 18-22

Tier Selection:

Tier 1 customers in our non-firm demand response (“NFDR”) service class (formerly known as temperature controlled or interruptible) currently have the option to select a service tier for the upcoming winter season. Tier selection is only required if you would like to change tiers.

*Rates are still being considered by the Commission and have not yet been set.  Designated Interruption Temperatures are determined prior to each winter season.

The commodity costs for NFDR service will be based on the Incremental Cost of Gas (“ICOG”) plus a demand charge, adjusted by the applicable Lost and Unaccounted for Gas (“LAUF”) factor. Each month, the Company will charge non-firm demand response sales customers the lower of the forecast monthly ICOG rate or the Monthly Cost of Gas (excluding adjustments) for the otherwise applicable firm service class.  Customers can refer to the monthly cost of gas statements for more information.

Please note that your election is confirmed for Winter 2021-2022.  You cannot change your election until the following winter.
Customer understands that the Designated Interruption Temperature is reviewed annually and stated prior to the winter period.
