National Grid interns gain unique exposure to a wide range of technical and operational opportunities. They gain a unique, firsthand look into our world-class company and our industry. Many also become future employees.
Paid summer internships are provided in the areas of:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
Successful candidates must be pursuing a college degree and possess excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. They will also need to be full-time students, authorized to work in the US, who have:
- 3.0 GPA (undergraduate); 3.2 (graduate students)
- 18 or more credits and be at least 18 years old
Please note the Summer Internship Program is seasonal. Our recruiting efforts begin in mid-September of each year and are usually available until early winter.
