Storm Alert

3:00 p.m. Update: Our crews have restored power to more than 44,000 of the 53,500 customers affected by a windstorm packing gusts exceeding 70 mph in some locations. The latest weather forecasts project another round of strong wind that will continue through Tuesday afternoon, with the potential for measurable snowfall that could cause some customers who were previously restored to lose power again. Use extreme caution near downed power lines and wires; always assume that they are carrying live electricity.
