Home Energy Savings
Maximum home comfort, with minimal effort
Let us help you enjoy the good things energy efficiency brings. We’re working with New York State to make it easier than ever to improve your home comfort and lower your monthly energy costs.
Our Home Energy Savings Program offers one-stop shopping for your home’s energy needs and flexible payment options that could mean little-to-no additional monthly costs for your home improvement project. Recommended upgrades may be made to your home, which could have little to no out of pocket costs dependent upon the proposed energy savings of the upgrades and the financing option you may choose.
How Home Energy Savings Works
1. Select a Service Provider. Contact our approved service provider ICF–trained to deliver the highest quality efficiency services and technology for your home.
2. Conduct Assessment. Your provider will conduct an assessment of your home, and may be reviewing your energy usage data over time to see where you may be losing energy.
3. Receive Savings Recommendations. Based on the data, and potentially an in-person visit, your provider will offer recommendations to help you save—from simple upgrades like lighting to bigger opportunities like replacing heating equipment.
4. Make Energy Upgrades. Recommended upgrades are made to your home, potentially with little to no out-of-pocket costs. Upgrades lead to savings, which may be enough to offset the monthly cost if you finance the project, meaning minimal financial impact.
5. Ongoing Monitoring. Your service provider will continue monitoring your home’s energy usage to ensure the project leads to performance expectations and savings.
