Storm Alert

National Grid is closely monitoring the weather in upstate NY this weekend. We have 3,250 line, service, tree, damage assessment and public safety workers ready in the event Sunday's predicted high winds do damage to our networks and we want to ensure you are prepared, too. We recommend keeping flashlights and extra batteries at home and keeping mobile devices fully charged so you can stay connected in the event of an outage.

When your power goes out without warning, it can be inconvenient and even a little unsettling. We have found that the more you know, the better prepared you'll be for those rare times when an outage occurs. Here are some questions our customers often ask us.
