This system update will impact the availability of some services from May 22 - May 27

Over the extended Memorial Day weekend, from May 22 through May 27, some of our regular services and bill payment options will be temporarily unavailable due to a system update. We will continue to respond to gas and electric emergencies 24 hours a day. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.


Important Dates

May 22 - May 27: Our online billing system will be unavailable during these dates. This will impact the availability of some of our regular services and bill payment options, including:

  • National Grid My Account and My Business Account, including account profile access
  • Budget Plan/Balanced Billing enrollment, unenrollment, and payment recalculation requests
  • Paperless Billing and DirectPay enrollment and unenrollment
  • Outage reporting
  • UNY Marketplace

Stop/Start/Transfer service requests will also be unavailable during this time. If you anticipate needing new service between May 22-27, please call and schedule a service appointment before May 21:

May 28: Our online billing system will return to normal business operations.

From May 22-27, you can pay with the following options:

  • Speedpay
  • Western Union

You may experience a delay in your payment posting from your bank account.
