Construction began in the Winter of 2022, after Memorial Day construction activities will significantly lighten to assist in the traffic management during summer months.  Regular construction activities will resume after Labor Day and we expect to be complete in the winter of 2023. Temporary restoration will occur after the first phase ends (summer 2022) and full restoration of the area will occur in the spring of 2023.

We will be lightening our construction activities to assist with traffic during summer months. During “off-season” months (fall, winter, spring) our contractors will have traffic flaggers to assist and mitigate any traffic issues greatest extent feasible.

No, not this project specifically.  This project will increase reliability to the east end of Long Island which will assist with any future service expansions.
