When you call, please be prepared to give the telephone number for the location experiencing the outage, account holder's name, your address (including the closest intersection), and any additional information you have, such as the location of downed lines or utility poles.
If you hear a message telling you we are aware of the outage in your area, you may hang up or stay on the line. If you stay on the line, we'll answer your call in turn as soon as possible. Even when all of our customer service representatives are busy, your call is important to us. Never assume we know that your power is out; the more calls we get, the better our ability to determine the extent and probable cause of the outage.
