Home Energy Affordability Team (HEAT) Income-Eligible Program

After providing no-cost energy efficiency solutions to income-eligible customers in Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Far Rockaway, the Home Energy Affordability Team (HEAT) will discontinue services after October 31, 2025.

Starting November 1, 2025, NYSERDA’s EmPower+ program, serving low- and moderate income households with energy efficiency measures, will expand program eligibility to serve 1-4 family homes for Long Island gas customers.
