Home Energy Affordability Team (HEAT) Income-Eligible Program
National Grid’s Long Island income-eligible energy efficiency program starts with a free home energy assessment either in-home or virtually (whichever you prefer).
Health and safety testing of your appliances plus a new carbon monoxide and smoke detectors will improve your family’s well-being.
You could receive the following energy-saving products and services at no cost:
- Programmable or Nest smart thermostats
- Low-flow faucet aerators and showerheads
- Attic insulation
- Weatherstripping
- Duct sealing
- Air sealing of leaks
- In some instances, we may be able to repair or replace natural gas heating and water heating equipment.
Income eligibility will be determined at the time of application.
