Storm Alert

8:00 AM Update
National Grid continued to make restoration progress overnight, and will be working through the day to bring power back to those customers who remain without it after Tropical Storm Isaias’ heavy rain and up to 60 mph winds on Tuesday. While most customers are targeted for restoration by tonight, some outages may extend into the weekend. Thousands of personnel are in the field working as quickly as possible while keeping safety a number one priority. Restoration times will be refined on this site throughout the day. EPA Portfolio Manager - Massachusetts Electric

National Grid supports the EPA’s Portfolio Manager tool for Massachusetts Electric properties as part of a larger effort to promote energy efficiency and identify improvement opportunities for our customers. Portfolio Manager provides benchmarks to help customers assess the energy performance of their building(s), and encourage action to make the building(s) more efficient in a sustainable way. To accomplish this, National Grid must disclose the aggregated energy consumption data for your premises.

Please select the property type below that applies to you and follow the steps accordingly.

Step 1: Start the aggregate data upload process, you must visit the EPA Portfolio Manager site to register your property and complete the SHARE PROPERTY procedure. (If you haven’t done so already.)
Step 2:

You must print, fill out and submit the Energy Usage Release Form* for each tenant. Email the completed form in a PDF format to NE.EnergyEfficiency@nationalgrid.com.

NOTE: Municipalities or governmental agencies that have multiple properties that they would like data for can submit via email a signed Energy Usage Release Form with an Excel or Word file that lists all the managed buildings with their corresponding National Grid account information.  Only one (1) account number per building is required.

Step 3: Once you have completed the property share procedure with the EPA portfolio manager, select EPA Portfolio Manager Online Form link to complete the online register process with National Grid.

National Grid has implemented a quarterly aggregate data upload process that will continue to provide customers with quarterly building usage information for up to four (4) years, as long as building owners maintain their EPA Portfolio Manager web share link as active.  Deactivating EPA portfolio manager property share link will disable the upload process.

If you would like historical data, please contact NE.EnergyEfficiency@nationalgrid.com to request your usage information be uploaded to your EPA portfolio manager account. In most cases, National Grid can provide up to three (3) years of historical energy usage on active accounts.
