Disconnect Gas Service

Demolishing a house or removing a gas line from your property? You need to disconnect your service first. Use the guidelines below to begin this process.

If you’re planning to demolish or rebuild, it’s essential to remove both your meter and the gas line on your property.

  1. First, call 1-800-732-3400 to request meter removal.
  2. Second, complete the Request for Service Cut-Off and Demo Sign-Off form.

After the form has been submitted, a Gas Connections Representative will follow up with you.

If you’re demolishing a house or business and require a demolition letter to obtain a local permit, or need to confirm there is no gas line on the property.

  1. Please fill out the Request for Service Cut-Off and Demo Sign-Off form.

We will verify that there is no gas on the property and provide a demolition letter.
