Utility Bill Help Segment Featured on Rhode Island TV Program
Categories:
On Friday (4/23) National Grid’s Rhode Island Customer and Community Manager Marisa Albanese appeared on WPRI’s Rhode Show to discuss ways for customers to manage their utility bill during the ongoing pandemic (to watch the video click on the underlined link above).
She discussed about the arrival of lower Summer Electric Rates for most customers and a new program called RentReliefRI offered through the Rhode Island Housing Department. It allows renters to apply for help with utilities even if they do not need help paying for rent.
Another option is the Good Neighbor Energy Fund, which National Grid Rhode Island helps to sponsor. National Grid is still offering it’s COVID-19 Payment Agreement, and other options for customers to pay – including Discount Rates, the Heating Assistance/Home Energy Assistance Program, the Forgiveness Program and the Budget Plan.
