National Grid's extended sponsorship of STEM Saturdays at Explore & More The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Children’s Museum's includes videos of National Grid employees at work.
“We wanted to offer kids an opportunity to see STEM in action at National Grid,” said Mauri Myers-Solages, corporate citizenship manager at National Grid, “We hope that these behind-the-scenes videos will ignite a spark and encourage curiosity.”
The first two videos feature overhead line mechanic Raymond Rustowicz and Wanda Fournier (above) of customer metering services. These and subsequent videos - one uploaded every month on National Grid’s STEM Saturdays - will be available at Explore & More’s website or YouTube account.
National Grid employees featured in subsequent videos include communication tester Matthew Lutz, chief fleet technician Warren Bippert, relay technician Eric Fallon and electrical engineers Haley Swanson and Mercedes Handley.
