National Grid applauds Congress for passing a bipartisan infrastructure measure that will make critical investments in clean energy, resilience and climate change solutions. These investments will help meet our collective transportation and heat decarbonization goals, create long-term economic development and bring more jobs and environmental equity to our communities.

Here in the Northeast, we remain focused on clean, reliable, affordable and fair energy solutions. These include offshore wind, electrified transportation and transitioning heating sources to cleaner technologies like renewable natural gas and hydrogen.  The federal government remains a vital partner in these efforts. We look forward to continuing to work with Congress on a broader spending package that would further invest in climate-related infrastructure.
