Mary Grace Welch, National Grid’s Lead Economic Developer based in Buffalo, N.Y., has been named to Buffalo Business First’s annual list of 200 influential women. It’s the second year in a row that Welch made the list. Of the 200 women honored this year, Welch ranked No. 52.
“This recognition is a high honor for Mary Grace, and richly deserved,” said National Grid Economic Development Manager Art Hamlin. “She plays a critical role in driving economic growth in Western New York and is a tireless advocate for our customers.”
The list is sponsored by M&T Bank, BestSelf Behavioral Health, Southtowns Radiology and the University at Buffalo School of Management. It spotlights women’s talent and influence that fuel economic, social and cultural growth across Western New York.
