Mary Grace Welch recognized as one of Western New York's 'Top Women'

Mary Grace and William Barrons review his Niagara Falls project that received a $100,000 National Grid economic developemnt grant. More about that grant, and others that the company recently worked on with customers, can be found here.   

Mary Grace Welch, National Grid’s Lead Economic Developer based in Buffalo, N.Y., has been named to Buffalo Business First’s annual list of 200 influential women. It’s the second year in a row that Welch made the list. Of the 200 women honored this year, Welch ranked No. 52.

“This recognition is a high honor for Mary Grace, and richly deserved,” said  National Grid Economic Development Manager Art Hamlin. “She plays a critical role in driving economic growth in Western New York and is a tireless advocate for our customers.”

The list is sponsored by M&T Bank, BestSelf Behavioral Health, Southtowns Radiology and the University at Buffalo School of Management. It spotlights women’s talent and influence that fuel economic, social and cultural growth across Western New York.
