“Trees for Threes” Partnership Making Brooklyn Communities Greener

National Grid employee volunteers along with Nets Legend Albert King and BSE Global employees participate in “Trees for Threes” partnership event at Prospect Park.
In partnership with the Brooklyn Nets “Trees for Threes” program, National Grid employee volunteers helped plant native herbaceous plants within the Lakeside area of Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The plants improve the Lakeside ecosystem and they are essential for the wildlife habitat that lives adjacent to the lake.
The Brooklyn Nets/Barclays Center and National Grid are working together to make the local communities greener. With the “Trees for Threes” partnership, a tree is planted for every three-pointer the Brooklyn Nets score at a home game.
