What are Thermal Energy Networks?

Thermal Energy Networks, or geothermal networks, use a buried piping network and the earth’s constant temperature to provide a clean, sustainable energy source for heating and cooling buildings.

Boston, MA: Our geothermal program explores whether a geothermal network can be used to replace customers’ natural gas service. We are currently designing a geothermal network in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, MA in collaboration with the Boston Housing Authority.
