7:00 p.m Update: Our field force has restored service to 92 percent of the 39,850 Western New York customers affected by the storm that brought high winds and wind gusts of around 70 mph. Restoration work will continue as crews work around the clock to restore every customer.  We urge everyone to always assume any downed line is live and dangerous, to stay far away, and to keep others at a safe distance.
