New York State Energy Bill Credits

In February 2024, Governor Kathy Hochul announced a $200 million energy bill credit for New York State that was included in the Fiscal year 2024 State Budget. This one-time credit will provide some relief on customers' bills.

No action is required to receive the bill credit. The credit will appear on energy bills with a bill message reflecting the one-time New York State Energy Bill Credit in the amount of $8.47.
