Clean Energy Tech Academy
The Clean Energy Tech Academy (CETA) enables high school students to explore careers in the energy industry and learn about opportunities with a clean energy focus. High school juniors/seniors from MA are selected to participate in hands on learning about various energy focused field at National Grid.
Program Details
Program types:
- Co‑op: academic‑year placement for juniors and seniors
- Summer internship: paid summer placements for juniors and seniors
- Scholarships
Program goals:
- Build a pipeline of high school talent for future NG roles
- Provide equitable, paid, real‑world experience so students can make informed career choices
Learning experiences:
- Professional development (resume support, interview prep, workplace expectations)
- Hands‑on learning and site‑based tasks
- Site visits and demonstrations
- Mentorship from NG employees
