National Grid has completed renovations at the substation located at 95 Boulevard Street in Lowell, Massachusetts. Construction began in September 2022 and was completed in December 2025. Throughout the project, National Grid crews upgraded and installed new electrical equipment to modernize the facility. These improvements strengthen both the electric transmission and distribution systems and help ensure more reliable service for customers in the surrounding area.

Construction Schedule:

Construction is slated to begin in September 2022 and be completed by the end of the Summer of 2024.
