The Dunstable Substation Asset Replacement Project will expand the existing substation fence to accommodate upgrades and replacements of aging assets, as well as the installation of a new control house. The Project is located at the existing substation located southwest of Pleasant Street and Pleasant Street Extension in Dunstable, Massachusetts. The Dunstable Substation was originally built in 1971 and the assets that currently exist at the Dunstable Substation are reaching the end of their life cycle and require replacement. The Project’s new control house will accommodate the necessary room to enable the substation to be fiber optic ready.
