National Grid facility/yard on 43 Marguerite Ave, Elmont, NY 11003

The work involves installing new infrastructure and a new aesthetic fence around the station perimeter. Work will take place in the yard but may affect Marguerite Avenue and Makofske Avenue, including parking. Some noise can be expected during working hours.

Traffic will be minimally impacted during work hours on Makofske Avenue and Marguerite Avenue. Our team is working with the appropriate transportation authorities to ensure the safety of the streets where our work will take place and mitigate traffic issues to the greatest extent feasible. Signage will be posted as needed and traffic flaggers will be on-site during construction hours.

If we do, we will notify those property owners ahead of time and we will fix it.

While our contractors will make efforts to keep disturbance to a minimum, there will be noise associated with this project. Most of that noise will occur while excavation is underway as contractors use heavy equipment.
