Beginning in May 2026, National Grid will upgrade our infrastructure at the Northwest corner of the intersection between East Old Country Road and Plainview Road within the grass area in Hicksville, NY. 

The Plainview RCV Project will install a remote-control valve (RCV) to improve system integrity and reliability as well as to safely respond to system needs.  

Work will involve excavation of the grass area, relocation of infrastructure, temporary restoration, testing of the infrastructure, and final restoration.
