Last week our team completed the restoration of the sidewalk and curb on Augustina Avenue on 11/3/23.

Last week our team completed restoration of the sidewalk and curb on Augustina Avenue. Residents can once again expect a limited presence on site, with the full mill and paving of Augustina Avenue expected to be completed on Tuesday 11/7.

  • Full curb to curb restoration of Augustina Avenue on Tuesday 11/7.

Last week our team completed restoration of the sidewalk on Augustina Avenue. Residents can once again expect a limited presence on site, with full restoration of Augustina Avenue expected to be completed over the next few weeks.

Last week our Instrumentation and Regulation team continued with their work, as this project moves closer to completion. Residents can once again expect a limited presence on site, with full restoration of Augustina Avenue expected to be completed over the next few weeks.

Last week our construction team worked inside the OPP and secondary vaults and walked the site with our contractor team to discuss restoration. Hawkeye was also on site to complete electrical work.

Last week our construction team continued permanent restoration of Augustina Ave, Minton Street, and Beach 12th Street. Restoration work will continue through the month of September. PSEG was also on site to install electrical connections. 

This week neighbors can expect to see: 

  • Continued restoration of all three roadways through the month of September.
  • Work by our Instrumentation and Regulation team.
  • Removal of any leftover materials from Beach 12th Street.
  • Curb to Curb restoration will take place from 10/9 - 10/20.

Last week our construction team continued backfilling of excavations, installed conduit and test stations, and performed tie-in work. National Grid's Instrumentation & Regulation team was also on site to test valves and flanges.

Last week our construction team continued underground infrastructure work within our pit with Enecon and extended our trench on Minton Street to the opposite curb.

  • Continued road closure on Augustina Avenue between Minton Street and Beach 12th Street.

Last week our construction team performed pressure testing on Friday 7/14, which can result in louder than normal work conditions on site. We thank you for your continued patience as we completed that important stage of the project.  Our crews also continued work to install control lines, and continued welding.
