About the Project

The Reynolds Avenue Project includes the construction of a new substation on National Grid fee-owned land off Reynolds Avenue in Rehoboth as well as new and rebuilt overhead and underground electric distribution lines. The project will increase the reliability of the electric system and service to the community. Construction of the substation began in the Spring of 2020 and was energized in late 2023. Construction of the overhead and underground electric distribution lines is currently ongoing.
