Last week our crew continued infrastructure upgrades, backfilling and temporary restoration on Eagle Avenue near the intersection of Taft Street.

This week neighbors can expect to see:

• Continued excavation, backfilling, and infrastructure upgrade work at Taft Street and Eagle Avenue.
• A crane on site to lift new infrastructure into place on 5/24/24 (rain date 5/25/24). Use of the crane will require temporary road closures on Taft Street and Eagle Avenue for a few hours.

Last week our crew continued infrastructure upgrades, backfilling and temporary restoration on Eagle Avenue near the intersection of Woodfield Road, and continued excavation and underground infrastructure upgrades at the intersection of Taft Street and Eagle Avenue.

As the West Hempstead Improvement Project progresses, our presence on Eagle Avenue will move further from Woodfield Road, closer to Taft St., in addition to the work at our Taft St regulator station.

This week neighbors can expect to see:

• Continued excavation, backfilling, and infrastructure upgrade work on Taft Street and Eagle Avenue.
