National Grid regularly updates parts of our system to ensure continued safe and reliable service to our customers.

The Weymouth Take Station Compliance Project will modernize equipment at our existing “take station”, which reduces pressure from an upstream transmission system to a level that can be used safely by local customers. Recent changes in Massachusetts Department Public Utilities (DPU) regulations require existing gas pressure regulating stations to include a number of additional features for compliance.

The project will take place in the National Grid Building off Bridge Street. All work will be on National Grid infrastructure.
