8 p.m. - Our crews and contractors are responding to power outages caused by downed wires, poles, trees and limbs after strong winds and heavy rain moved across Massachusetts Friday. Wind gusts of more than 60 mph occurred in some areas of Massachusetts from the storm. Our field personnel are responding to emergency 911 and wires down calls, assessing damage and repairing electrical infrastructure where conditions are safe.
