This week, crews continued excavation work and underground infrastructure upgrades. Next week, crews will continue underground infrastructure upgrade work and begin backfilling excavations. 

The Cumberland Farms driveway on Commack Road closest to the work zone may be closed during work hours for the safety of our crews and Cumberland Farms customers. At least once driveway on Commack Rd and on the LIE N. Service Rd will remain open during work hours. Cumberland Farms remains open during construction.

This project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2026.
