Beginning in April, National Grid crews will begin infrastructure upgrades at the southeast corner of the LIE S. Service Road and Commack Road in Dix Hills.  NY, adjacent to the Park and Ride. Work will not impact ingress/egress to the Park and Ride. The Dix Hills RCV Project will install a remote-control valve (RCV) to improve system integrity and our ability to safely respond to system needs.

We are continuously evaluating opportunities to enhance the reliability of our energy delivery networks. In the coming months, we’ll be working on a project in Dix Hills to improve our energy delivery system, including the installation of a Remote-Control Valve (RCV), which will improve system integrity and our ability to safely respond to system needs.

Construction work will include excavation, installation of new equipment and support, pressure testing, backfill and restoration. Temporary shoulder closure on the LIE S Service Road may apply during work hours. For your safety, please stay away from the construction site and pay attention to signs around the work area.
