As our crews continue to construct the upgraded saltwater pump house, a barge has mobilized on site to support pile installation activities. Land side pile installation is scheduled to begin mid-august, expected to be completed by the end of October.

Water side pile driving will commence around the end of October, expected to be completed in early November.

National Grid crews will utilize turbidity curtains during water side pile installation, which sit underwater and limit the movement of sediment and prevent turbulent waters.
