The work involves installing a check valve to the north side of Montauk Highway and West Gate Road in Southampton, ensuring it is situated in the right of way. Work will involve excavation of the roadway, relocation of existing infrastructure, temporary restoration of the roadway, testing of the infrastructure, and final restoration of the roadway.

Work will begin September 2025 and will continue through December 2025.

Traffic will be minimally impacted during work hours along Montauk Highway and West Gate Road in Southampton, NY.  Our team is working with the appropriate transportation authorities to ensure the safety of the streets where our work will take place and mitigate traffic issues to the greatest extent feasible. Signage will be posted as needed and traffic flaggers will be on-site during construction hours.

If we do, we will notify those property owners ahead of time and we will fix it. 

While our contractors will make efforts to keep disturbance to a minimum, there will be noise associated with this project. Most of that noise will occur while excavation is underway as contractors use heavy equipment.
