1 Important Alert(s)

Storm Alert

8:00 a.m. Update: National Grid’s field force of more than 3,300 line, tree and public safety specialists worked around the clock yesterday and will continue to do so on Tuesday to restore power outages caused by the storm that brought down trees and poles. And while service has been restored to more than 70,800 of the 112,300-plus customers affected by the storm, our work continues until every customer has had their service restored. National Grid reminds you to prepare for power interruptions by charging your mobile devices and to never touch downed power lines; always assume they are carrying live electricity.

Emergency/Temporary Assistance

If you are income-eligible, Emergency Temporary Assistance may be available from New York state, through local departments of social services. Payment of past-due bills may be available if your utilities are shut off or are about to be shut off, or you have a 72-hour disconnect notice.
