Our construction crews have finished the JBE natural gas infrastructure project and are starting final road and sidewalk restoration. The project is located along South Conduit Avenue, and at the corner of Old South Road and 130^th Street.

Crews are remobilizing to the site for final restoration and paving. Our site restoration work has begun on 129^th Street, just south of South Conduit Avenue.

Road restoration is a two-step process. Contractors will first mill the street surface before applying and rolling out the new asphalt. Roads will not be closed during paving operations. We will place notifications on parked vehicles 72 hours prior to paving operations for each segment of road.

Our crews have finished infrastructure work along South Conduit Avenue, and at the corner of Old South Road and 130th Street.

Crews will begin paving and restoration in spring 2026 when weather conditions permit. Winter weather and cold temperatures restrict asphalt paving and concrete work. We will keep you informed as we approach final restoration and project completion.

Our crews are continuing construction activities located on South Conduit Avenue between 128^th Street and 130^th Street in South Ozone Park.

In November our crews began mobilizing to the most recent phase of the Jamaica Bay East project located at 130^th Street and Old South Road in South Ozone Park. Our crew has begun with test hole activities in this neighborhood. Construction activities will pause starting December 23rd 2024, and resume on January 6th 2025.
