About the Project
Beginning in May 2026, our crews and contractors will be installing upgraded infrastructure in two phases along Metropolitan Avenue and in Forest Hills, Queens. Please note: there will be no interruption to service for our customers.
Phase 1 involves installing a new underground infrastructure in sections along Metropolitan Avenue, starting at 74th Avenue and ending at 70th Drive.
Phase 2 will build a new gate station and install heaters within National Grid property on Metropolitan Avenue and 70th Drive
