Solar for All

With Solar for All from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), income-eligible households can subscribe to community solar at no cost. Program participants receive monthly credits on their electricity bills—up to $15 a month—and there are no upfront costs, fees or payments to participate.

Participation does not affect any existing electric bill credit or reduction you have. You may already be eligible for Solar for All if you participate in HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program), SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), EmPower+ New York or another electric bill assistance program.

To learn more about Solar for All, please visit the website, email solarforall@nyserda.ny.gov, or call 1-877-NYSMART (1-877-697-6278).
