Rover Street - Everett

This project is located on a former manufactured gas plant site and is connected to National Grid’s pilot program for Load Congestion Relief. This program helps to offset customer electricity demand in the area by providing additional renewable power as the demand grows. It has been connected to the grid & serving customers since December 2010.

Environmental Benefits:

Construction of the project is estimated to save approximately 1,700 pounds of sulfur dioxide, 790 pounds of nitrous oxides, and 820,000 pounds of carbon dioxide per year. This is equivalent to the emissions produced in generating electricity for 120 average homes.
