Service Rates

Review our rate descriptions and pricing schedules for residential customers. For information on our other rates or detailed information, please view our filed tariff provisions.

Electric Service Rates

This is our standard rate for the majority of our residential customers, as other rates require special conditions. Service is also available for church and farm customers.

Rates for Delivery Service (R-1)

In addition to the rates for Delivery Service listed above, customers on Nantucket Island are also subject to the following Cable Facilities Surcharge (“CFS”) for the two submarine cables that serve the island:

If you are a residential customer and meet the requirements listed in the link below then you may be eligible for a discount on your monthly electric bill. This will save you money and will not affect the service you currently receive. On August 29, 2025, National Grid implemented a new tiered low income discount program approved by the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities. Eligible customers can now receive a credit based on a range of 32 percent to 71 percent of the total charges reflected on their bill, depending on their income level and household size.  For more information on how to enroll, visit Discount Rates | National Grid
